Welcome to the prairiecomber. The name reflects the two halves my life – I presently live on the prairies of the Midwest and I grew up on the Outer Banks of NC. Since I am not a beachcomber, that makes me a prairiecomber. Strange? Probably.
The purpose of this site is to produce fiction writing. The main categories are Poems, Stories, and Fragments. Fragments are ideas or background info. They are basically notes, character sketches, or background information. Poems are just that, subcategories will be any collection I’ve created. For example, Durham and Other Thoughts was a collection of my poems from 1995-1999. Stories are either serials or previously written stories in a collection.
